The syncboxBLUE provides RS485 level one pulse per second (PPS) and serial data for time synchronisation over extended cable runs. The system is suitable for protected external or internal installation (when mounted close to a window).
High speed RS485 driver outputs provide PPS accuracies of better than 100 nsec and can drive cable runs in excess of 1 km (1000 metres). The time source can be supplied to output serial data from a range of different formats. Non-standard special RS485 serial outputs are available upon request.
The system is available with an optional RS485 to RS232 serial data converter providing RS232 level serial and PPS data over long cable lengths.
If required, the syncboxBLUE can output time referenced to your local time zone automatically performing seasonal time changes.
