Stable timing is vital to the operation of your network. Without it, data errors occur and files become corrupted.
With rock-solid setup-and-forget operation, the MC1000 is the solution. Simply connect a GPS or radio antenna and the MC1000 synchronises your network using NTP / SNTP protocols.
With the MC1000 you get tried and tested design capable of synchronising tens of thousands of PCs. You also get a five year warranty with free lifetime technical support and software updates.
We are so confident you’ll be pleased with your MC1000 time server we offer a money back guarantee. If you’re not happy, return the system within 30 days for a refund. Please visit our money back guarantee page for details.

| Typical Performance Specifications: | |
| Synchronised internal timing accuracy: | Dependent on synchronisation source accuracy, time elapsed from first lock and cable lengths. Typically within 100nsec of synchronisation source after 30 mins. |
| Unsynchronised holdover (TCXO): | 3.6 msec/hour (86 msec/day) |
| Client synchronisation accuracy: | Dependent on network architecture, utilisation, delays and jitter. Clients typically synchronised to within 200 µsec to 2 msec of MC1000 on a local area network. |
| Supported Protocols: | |
| Protocols: | NTP v2 (RFC 1119), NTP v3 (RFC 1305), NTP v4 (no RFC), SNTP v3 (RFC 1769), SNTP v4 (RFC 2030), DHCP*, HTTP*, TELNET* (* can be disabled by user) |

To operate as a stratum 1 NTP time server, the MC1000 requires a connection from either one or two antenna systems. Listed below are the available antenna systems compatible with the MC1000 ntp server.
The GPS1000 is a high sensitivity GPS time receiver system suitable for internal or external use. Class leading availability enables system lock in urban canyon areas and provides PPS accuracy of 100 nsec.
The GPS4000 is a high accuracy GPS time receiver system incorporating anti-jam technology. System PPS accuracy of 50nsec combined with cable delay compensation provides highly accurate system timing precision.
The MSF1000 is an MSF radio time receiver suitable for internal or external use.
The DCF1000 is a DCF radio time signal receiver suitable for internal or external use.
The MC1000 ntp server is supplied with an IEC mains cable, a CAT5 patch cable, a USB cable, four 19" rack fixing screws and four rubber feet (for non-rack mounting applications). Unless you have requested not to receive them (greener option), the system is also supplied with a CD-ROM containing the MC1000 Utilities software & USB drivers and a hard copy of the MC1000 user manual (all available from the download section).
