The syncboxSDC is a timing data level converter providing RS232 level PPS and serial data outputs from dual RS485 level inputs.

The syncboxSDC converts RS485 level timing data from a syncboxBLUE RS485 time source and provides RS232 level PPS and serial data. When installed together with the syncboxBLUE, the system provides serial data for direct connection to a PC over extended cable runs.
The syncboxSDC serial data converter incorporates status LEDs indicating the detection of timing data at the RS485 inputs. The data detection circuits intelligently condition the timing data, ensuring even the shortest PPS pulses and high speed serial data are visible to the human eye.
